Tip of the Week – Salesforce Omni-Channel is better with Lightning Editions

Getting work out to the best agents in real time is always a challenge, and Salesforce has addressed that challenge with Omni-Channel. Omni-Channel seamlessly streams Leads, Cases, and most standard and custom Salesforce objects directly to the correct agents based on specialty, availability, and current bandwidth. The problem is that to get the most out of this cool, new(ish) tool, you needed to purchase the Console, which was a pricey add-on. Well, times have changed, and now is the perfect time to evaluate Salesforce Omni-Channel for your team!

Tip of the Week – Salesforce Enterprise Edition now includes the Sales Console

If you’ve been following our blog or the latest Salesforce news, you will know that Salesforce recently updated their pricing, and with the updated pricing, has added a number of features to each of the Editions. If you’re new to Salesforce, this means you’re paying a bit more for significantly more value. If you’re an existing customer, your current price should stand until the end of your contract, but you’ll still get these new features.

One of the most exciting updates comes with the Enterprise Edition. Customers on the Sales Cloud will now have access to a customizable Sales Console at no extra cost! And if you’re on the Service Cloud, you’ll get a customizable Service Console!
